May 16 Lanesboro Community Center (as part of the Bluff Country Gathering) at 8:00 PM featuring caller Beverly Smith and music by Eric & Suzy Thompson, Skip Gorman, Christian Wig and the New North Carolina Ramblers. Admission: $8.00
June 20 Sons of Norway Hall at 8:00 PM. Caller Ann Carter from Minneapolis will be joining Bob & Gail. Admission: $6.00
September 12 Sons of Norway at 8:00 PM. Guest caller Pop Wagner from St. Paul. Admission: $6.00

The Lanesboro Barn Dance was begun in 1995 by Bob & Gail. It is
an old-fashioned square dance, typical of many of the dances held throughout the
Midwest in the past, in barns, homes and community halls.
The dance is held at the Sons of Norway Hall in Lanesboro (except the May dance) through the summer months, always with live music and calling (including teaching). It's air-conditioned, too! Dancers need not have prior experience, nor do they need to come with a partner.
